The ATPL theory course (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) is the next step in your training after you have become a Private Pilot. The ATPL theory course consist of 650 hours training and it is a necessary requirement before obtaining your instrument rating and commercial pilot license, ultimately to becoming an Airline Transport Pilot.
