Our MCC/JOC Combined course offers the full MCC and JOC course content but on a more evenly paced course. The MCC/JOC is offered as a combined package at a discounted price.

SESSION DURATION DESCRIPTION & SCHEDULE

  • JOC THEORY - 4 Hours overview and description of jet aircraft, aerodynamics, high-altitude handling of jets, approach and go-around considerations, other topics (noise abatement, abnormal procedures…), simulator-specific advices, mock-up trainer

  • MCC THEORY 1 - 8 hours the Human element and SHELL model, interfaces, the SHELL in MCC, communication – means and methods, barriers to understanding

  • MCC THEORY 2 - 8 hours decision making, problem solving, situational awareness, teamwork, leadership&followership, threat and error management

  • MCC THEORY 3 - 8 hours threat and error management, multi crew aircraft, standard operating procedures, checklist and callouts, in cockpit briefing, rejected take off procedures, crew co-ordination procedures, cockpit layout – mock up trainer, flight deck femiliarization, practice of callouts, flows

  • JOC SIM 1 - 1 hour briefing 4 hours of flying. 1 hour debriefing jet engine management, energy management, manual flight path management, pitch/thrust flight, etc

  • JOC SIM 2 - 1 hour briefing 4 hours of flying 1 hour debriefing advanced flight path management - turning climb/descent, out of protection flight, extreme altitudes, high MACH training, etc.

  • FAM SIM 3 - 1 hour briefing 4 hours of flying 1 hour debriefing basic A/T management, ECAM work, FCU work, presentation of the "specialities" of the FBW aircraft, ECAM basics. Showing the DODAR without time pressure, very simple malfunctions on the ground, decision making, etc.

  • MCC SIM 4 - 1 hour briefing 4 hours of flying 1 hour debriefing multi-crew cooperation and threat and error management basics, various failure scenarios, ECAM work with level 1 malfunctions, various approach types, go-around management with and without failures, workload management, safe flight basics

  • MCC2 SIM 5 - 1 hour briefing 4 hours of flying 1 hour debriefing bad weather scenarios, more complex failures, etc

  • LOFT1 SIM 6 - 1 hour briefing 4 hours of flying 1 hour debriefing full LOFT session, with many recoverable malfunctions, operational flight plan use, decision making, heavy workload situations

  • LOFT2 SIM 7 - 1 hour briefing 4 hours of flying 1 hour debriefing full LOFT sessions, unrecoverable malfunctions, rapid decompression, NPA approaches, etc
